LAKE GENEVA

Hey everyone! I'm finally here with the third part of my holiday pictures. I've tried to keep it as short as possible. Hope you like it! :)

Fun fact: Lake Geneva is a lake on the north side of the Alps, shared between Switzerland and France. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe. The Lemanic Arc is the region on the north side of the Lake, stretching out from Geneva to Lausanne and Montreux.  Geneva, Vevey and Montreux are parts of the region which we visited, the others include Lausanne, La côte, Lavaux and La Riviera.

 The Broken Chair (installed in 1997) serves as a visual reminder of the number of people living in war-torn areas that continue to be victimized by landmines on a daily basis and it makes us ponder why we aren't doing more to help.
