TWO WAYS TO FLORAL

Hi everyone! I hope you all have a lovely weekend!

I realised I haven't done an Outfit Of The Day on my blog, except for maybe once? So here's an OOTD post for you guys!

This post also features my lovely and gorgeous friend Sangay, who reluctantly agreed to take a few pictures :P

The two outfits are total opposites in terms of colour and style, however there's a floral connect between the two which I think is very cool! It feels amazing to experiment with different styles which have a common theme per se. So without further delay, lets get into it!

Outfit 1: Screaming colours. Super comfy and bright floral pants paired with beige flats and sling bag. Minimal accessories. I've gone with two of my favourite rings and a watch.

Details: Floral pants: F21//
Top, Sling bag: Thrifted (Mumbai)//
Shades, studded flats: Thrifted (Beijing/Bangkok; courtesy of my sis ;))//
Rings: Accessorize// Watch: Guess//

Outfit 2: The Dark Side. Since my friend here doesn't like bright colours, she always goes for black, white or grey! But hey, doesn't mean she can't rock florals in these colours. This lovely daisy crop top does the trick. Add a pair of chunky black heels and you're good to go!

Details: High waisted skinny jeans; Daisy top; Chunky heels: F21//
Shades: Aldo//

XOXO

That is all for today. I hope you enjoyed this post. I think I'm going to do OOTD posts often.
Let me know what you think :) xx

PS: Shoutout to my living room! :P

Lots of love,

A FORTNIGHT IN THE DESERT

Hey there!

I'm back with few pictures to share this time, some of which you may have seen on my Instagram. Regardless, I hope you enjoy this post. I spent two weeks in Doha and it was a lovely experience, all thanks to my amazing big sis! I would like to dedicate this post to her as a token of love and appreciation for everything she does for me and also as a bribe for future adventures :P

On a serious note, I can proudly brag that I have the best sister in the whole wide world. <3

Here are some pictures from my visit to Doha, Qatar in December '14 which now feels like a different lifetime!

1) Desert safari (also the day I met with a minor bike accident, the scar of which I still proudly bear)

Desert day is incomplete without camel rides!

2) Dinner and drinks at SkyView, La Cigale.

3) A day at The Pearl-Qatar, an artificial island.

Brunch at Emporio Armani Caffe

4) Sunset at Corniche Seaside

 5) Museum of Islamic Art (MIA)

 6) Club hopping with the cousin. 6 clubs in one night! Started off with dinner at Strata, located at the 56th floor of Intercontinental hotel, Doha.

Strata Restaurant, Lounge and Bar.

Shout out to the crazy, fun, loving cuz! <3

7) Sundowner session at Sharq Village and Spa. I have only one slightly decent picture from that night. You can guess why!

As you all know, my (picture) posts are incomplete without a selfie. :)

So, thats all for this post. I'm glad I could finally share these pictures.

I think I'm doing okay with the whole "posting often" promise I made. Will be back soon.

Till then take care, be safe and happy! xx

Love and hugs,
Gawa

LAKE GENEVA

Hey everyone! I'm finally here with the third part of my holiday pictures. I've tried to keep it as short as possible. Hope you like it! :)

Beautiful skies, breathtaking view, lovely weather. Need I say more? Best. Drive. Ever.

Stopped on the way to take some pictures.

Do you see the snow capped mountain in the background?!

All the pretty colours!
Vevey monastery with granny.

Prayer wheels

View from Granny's place. Lake Geneva.

Fun fact: Lake Geneva is a lake on the north side of the Alps, shared between Switzerland and France. It is one of the largest lakes in Western Europe. The Lemanic Arc is the region on the north side of the Lake, stretching out from Geneva to Lausanne and Montreux.  GenevaVevey and Montreux are parts of the region which we visited, the others include Lausanne, La côte, Lavaux and La Riviera.

Walk around the Lake in Vevey

Beautiful sunset.

Life size statue of Charlie Chaplin.

Day 2 in Switzerland. Montreux town. Nature at its best.

Traditional swiss meal (raclette)

Day 3: Geneva.

"L'horloge fleurie" (or "flower clock")

Jet d'Eau (water jet)
The above picture was taken just before a thunderstorm, hence the photo quality is not as great. But something about the dark clouds I love. :)

The United Nations Office.

The Broken Chair.
The Broken Chair (installed in 1997) serves as a visual reminder of the number of people living in war-torn areas that continue to be victimized by landmines on a daily basis and it makes us ponder why we aren't doing more to help.

Day 4: Zurich.

Sushi with cousins.

Dinner with cousins :)

That's all for now. Hope you all enjoyed this post. I'll be back soon with a bunch of pictures from my recent visit to Doha, Qatar.

Take care xx
