CHEVRON-FLORAL NAIL DESIGN

NAIL ART

You will need: 2-3 different nail colors, clear polish and few nail art brushes.

Colors that I used: Celeb city and Hardener by Sally Hansen// Revlon Knock Out//Maybelline Color Show Porcelain Party// Petrol Sky H&M (right to left)

Start by applying a base coat:

Apply the colors of your choice. (I used blue on my index, silver on my middle and little finger and black on my ring finger)

Use a detailing brush to do your art. Here I've drawn a simple daisy with six outward strokes of white starting from a center point and used a dotting tool to dot the center.

*Draw half daisies on the corners of the nail for a more natural effect.

For the middle and little finger I decided to do an aztec/chevron design.
Use a striping brush to do this design. Start from the middle of the nail and draw zig-zag lines.
Go on till you cover the entire nail. :)

Apply clear polish for a perfect finish!

**I'm quite happy with the way my nails turned out but I hope to improve my nail art skills overtime. ;)

EVERYDAY MAKE UP

My everyday makeup & products that I use.

1) After you moisturize your face, start off by applying BB cream as the base. (I'm currently using one from a Korean brand: Etude House, with SPF 30/PA++)

2) Concealer under the eyes and on any other part of the face that requires coverage. (on days when you need it.) You can skip this step if you're blessed with flawless skin :) (Colorbar full cover makeup stick)

3) Apply bronzer to the hollows of your cheeks for contour . (Optional)

4) Seal it all in with a translucent or any other compact powder. (MAC Studio fix)

5) Fill in your brows with an eyebrow pencil or dark brown eye shadow/brow powder using an angled brush.

6) For eye shadow you can use any shimmery shades of pink, bronze or silver. (depending on your outfit/mood) A lighter shade of shimmer on the inner corner of the eyes can brighten up your look. (Bobbi Brown shimmer brick compact in Pink Quartz)

7) Curl your lashes, apply 2-3 coats of mascara. (Maybelline the Falsies/L'Oréal False lash architect)

8) Don't forget to apply blush to the apples of your cheeks. ;) (MAC pink swoon)

9) You can wear shades of red, pink or purple on your lips to make a statement. My current favourite shades are all from Colorbar; Arrresting pink// Tooty fruity// Truesome pink, Sensuous red (Take me as I am)

*Remember to play up just one feature at a time. If you're going for a smokey eye look, use a lighter or nude shade on the lips.

**The new Colorbar lip collection (Take me as I am) is simply uh-mazing! I'm in love with the colors and the smooth texture, its very long lasting and the applicator is fun and easy to use. :)
